Today’s episode of Jay Leno’s Garage comes to you from the Lamborghini corner of the shop, where Jay has a rare Lamborghini 350 GT, the first production car Lamborghini made in 1965. It is of course fully restored, with the exception of the V12 engine, which is still working in its original condition; only benefiting from regular servicing. That’s pretty amazing, given the fact that old Italian supercars are notoriously unreliable.
The 350 GT is an incredibly elegant car and Jay seems to like driving it very much. As always, you also get a fair dose of cool technical details, like how Giotto Bizzarrini installed the carburetors at an angle, so they could be fitted under the that low and sleek bonnet.
