The Audi R8 Spyder V10 is a supercar for every opportunity. It’s got the power, it’s got the speed, it’s got the looks, and because of its all-wheel-drive system – and of course, superb quality and reliability – you can use it all year round, in every weather condition.
You would think that it is not possible to make it better than it already is, but German tuner B&B begs to differ. How they improve it? That’s easy. Just give it more horsepower!
So, B&B’s R8 Spyder gets a new carbon airbox, new software, and a race-spec sport exhaust system. The result is a significant jump in power; from 525 hp and 530 Nm of torque to 628 hp and 600 Nm. The R-tronic transmission is also tweaked.
That extra power makes the R8 a tiny bit faster than the standard car. It now does 0 to 100 km/h in 3.5 seconds and reaches a top speed of 328 km/h.
B&B doesn’t touch the R8’s exterior, but they do give it a set of sports wheels – 19-inch front and 20-inch rear – as well as sport suspension that lowers the car by 20mm front and 25mm rear. Another part of the package is new ceramic brakes.
