Ford Motor Company still has faith in Lincoln, even though they keep using the same old recipe that doesn’t really work. This is the new Lincoln MKC, a concept car that introduces Lincoln to the small luxury crossover segment. And it is still not what you call pretty or interesting.
The MKC uses the same design language created the MKZ, with Lincoln’s grille dominating the front-end. That, in combination with those small headlights, makes the car look kinda creepy, or is it just us! Lincoln of course believes it is sleek, elegant and contemporary.
The Concept MKC comes with a cream-based white metallic tri-coat paint, 20-inch premium wheels with polished chrome rims, and a large fixed panoramic roof that runs the length of the vehicle; features that almost certainly won’t make it into the production version.
The interior, from the sets to the pillars and headliner, is wrapped in high-end materials such as premium leather and suede, and features unique embroidered Lincoln Star and crimson stitch accents.
Lincoln has also confirmed they will begin selling cars in China in the second half of 2014 through independent dealers.
