Sported revealed its new tuning program for the latest version of BMW’s Sport Activity Vehicle, the X6. Dubbed SP6 X, the car is based on the 3.0 liter diesel model, and gets a nice performance tuning in addition to the usual visual upgrades.
The inline six engine begins life with 300 hp and 400 Nm of torque. When Sported is done with it, though, those numbers go up to 370 hp and a huge 50 Nm of torque. That significant increase is the result of using a new air intake system, as well as a remapped ECU.
With that kind of power, the SP6 X is capable of hitting 100 km/h from standing still in just 5.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 264 km/h. Those are excellent figures for a diesel SUV, and a big improvement over the standard car.
A sport exhaust system, 20-inch OZ lightweight wheels, and some M sport graphics wrap up this tuning package for the X6.
