ABT Golf Mk7 545x347 at Geneva Preview: ABT Volkswagen Golf Mk7

The new 2014 Golf GTI is going to obscure every other hatchback at this year’s Geneva Motor Show. But ABT Sportline just revealed their version of the Mk7 Golf which might be able to steal the GTI’s thunder, at least in terms of styling. This is ABT Golf VII.

The tuning package for the hatchback royalty includes a styling kit that consists of revised bumpers, incorporating front spoiler and rear diffuser, side skirts, and rear wing, as well as sport mirror caps, head light bezels, and a set of 19-inch alloy wheels wrapped in 225 section tires.

In terms of performance, ABT’s Golf is no GTI, but they do offer power upgrades for both the 1.4 TSI and 2.0 liter TDI engine. The TSI gets a bump from 120 to 160 horsepower, while the TDI is boosted from 150 to 170 horsepower.
