Hennessey Performance releases another performance package for a mainstream family car. this time they have been busy tweaking a Ford Taurus SHO, and they have come up with the MaxBoost 445 kit, which as the name suggests, boost the car’s power to 445 horsepower.

This kit on an AWD SHO V6 results in a seriously fast car. Hennessey claims the car will hit 60 mph from zero in just 4.3 seconds and does the quarter mile in 12.8 @ 109 mph. Those are very impressive numbers for a big, lumbering family sedan.

The engine tuning kit includes a dual cold air intake system, polished hard piping for the turbochargers, HPE engine management system, CORSA stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, and all necessary gasket and fluids.

The SHO package also includes Hennessey embroidered headrests, a numbered plaque, and a couple of special badges.
