Following its debut at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit last January, the new 2014 Maserati Quattroporte makes its UK debut in London during a glamorous, star-studded event at the Hurlingham Club. The vent was conducted by 5th Gear presenter and racing driver Vicki Butler-Henderson.
As you’d expect from Maserati, they attracted a sizable crowd of sophisticated people, including fashion artists, actors, TV personalities, and… Although the absence of supermodel Jodie Kidd, long time Maserati friend and ambassador, was a bit odd.
The 2014 Quattroporte may not have the awesome character of the previous model because of its new looks, but it is a cracking car, featuring two new engines, a V8 delivering 530HP and a 410HP V6, coupled with an 8-speed automatic gearbox by ZF. They also offer a Q4 all-wheel-drive version of the car now.
Among the celebrities attended the new Quatroporte’s unveiling event we can mention interior designer Kelly Hoppen, renowned fashion designer and car connoisseur Amanda Wakeley, bespoke jewellery designers Loree Rodkin and Lara Bohinc, acclaimed actresses Sienna Guillory, Camilla Rutherford and Tina Hobley, owners of Matchless fashion label Michele and Manuele Malenotti, dazzling socialites Heather Kerzner, Jeanette Calliva and perfect party organiser Yasmin Mills, swimwear designer Melissa Odabash and well known television personality Calum Best.
