Spring is upon us and the snow and ice are beginning to melt. But the winter driving scene is still going on strong, which is probably why Nissan decided it’s a good time to show off the all-weather prowess the 2013 GT-R by taking it to Dunlop test course at Hokkaido, within Nissan testing ground in Rikubetsu, Northern Japan.
In this thorough driving performance demo presented by GT-R chief engineer Kazautoshi Mizuno, they also bring in an Infinity FX and a Nissan 370Z sports car to help you understand the superiority of the mighty GT-R. The video is like 20 minutes long. You may want to skip the first few minutes.
The 2013 version of the Japanese high performance sedan boasts 550 horsepower from its twin-turbo V6 engine. Channeled to all four wheels, it can take the car from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds and onto a top speed of over 300 km/h. That is on pavement, mind you.
