Nissan announced the official pricing of the latest Track Edition of the GT-R 2014-specification in the American market, and it starts at a whopping $115,710. That is about 16 grand more than the normal Premium GTR, and comes with some racing bits and bobs that make it more suitable for track work.
Among the changes made to the Track Edition over the normal models we can mention a specially tuned suspension, special brake cooling guides, front spoiler with carbon fiber air ducts and a lightweight quilted cloth mat instead of rear seats.
Honed at the Nurburgring, the Track Edition suspension system consists of specialized Bilstein DampTronic gas pressure shock absorbers and higher spring rates. That in combination with better performing brakes and stickier Dunlop tires make the AWD supercar an absolute hoot to drive on the track. Inside the cabin it features blue-trimmed high-grip front seats that use a special leather and fabric appointments.
Limited to 150 units, the 2014 Nissan GT-R Track Edition is powdered by the same 545 horsepower V6 as the normal models. 2014 GT-R is also available in Premium and Black Edition trims:
GT-R Premium | $99,590 USD |
GT-R Black Edition | $109,300 USD |
GT-R Track Edition | $115,710 USD |
Destination and handling $1,000.
