Volkswagen’s super tricked-out Amarok pickup truck has been unveiled at the Wörthersee event in Austria under the superb name of Amarok Power-Pickup. There are many clues reflecting on the fact that this is a sporty Amarok, including the go-kart they’ve loaded up in the back.

The power pickup is powered by a 3.0-litre V6 TDI engine with a power output of 272 PS and 600 Nm of torque. It’s got the 4MOTION permanent all-wheel-drive system, which contributes to its 0 to 60mph time of 7.9 seconds.

Visually, the single-cab pickup is fitted with a cool body kit featuring large air intakes, flared wheel arches, and tall side sills, and a carbon fibre diffuser and dual exhausts, plus tinted taillights and red, white and black side decals. The Amarok is lowered by a staggering 80mm, slammed on 22-inch wheels.

Inside the cabin, this amazing workhorse features an eight-inch touchscreen and 500 watt subwoofer, while the dashboard, door trims and exclusive Nubuck leather sports seats have a black, red and white colour theme.

Sadly, there are no plans to put this car into production.
