Golf Design Vision GTI 0 600x400 at VW Golf Vision GTI Revealed Further Pictures and Video

Following an early preview Volkswagen now reveals the first pictures and video of their Worthersee-bound concept Golf, called the Design Vision GTI. Based on the Mk7 Golf, the Vision GTI shows what a supercar version of the hot hatch would look like if they VW ever decided to make one.

And it’s like a Golf in an Iron Man suit. It has wider hips, larger bumpers, awesome new quarter panels that join the side skirts an the wings and wrap the car around, while making room for those massive new wheels.

As with the previous GTI concepts though, the finest part of this car is the powertrain. It’s a 3.0 liter V6 turbocharged up to 503 horsepower. With the help of a DSG transmission and an all-wheel-drive system, it can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.9 seconds and reach a top speed of 300 km/h.

A fancy cabin with digital gauges, a cool gear lever, carbon fiber and Alcantara finishes off the Vision GTI. Can’t wait to see how it goes.
