BMW specialist G-Power is back with another package for the BMW M3 E92. This is the same old Supercharger kit optimized for the M3 GTS, and packing 650 horsepower. They have been honing and improving this system over the past few years, so this latest iteration must be pretty much bulletproof in every aspect.

The big G says they have re-engineered pretty much every detail of the powertrain in this car, from the air intakes to exhaust system. The meat of the upgrade program is the new ASA T1-523 supercharger which works in tandem with a new software.

You can feel the effect of these changes when you first get behind the wheel of the GTS and sample its throttle response. It is much sharper than the previous high-powered M3s, and the continuity of it gets the revs where the maximum boost pressure is achieved more quickly, and that helps the acceleration.

Speaking of which, this car goes from 0-100 km/h and 0-200 km/h in 4.1s and 11.8s respectively, and flat-out it can achieve 323 km/h. With that kind of performance, that showy aero kit makes complete sense. You do need that massive splitter at the front, and that large spoiler, at the back just to keep this beast in check. You also need those carbon ceramic disc brakes and the 20-inch lightweight wheels shod with high performance rubber.

It may not look it – what with that orange color and those silly Gumball graphics – but this car is the most serious BMW M3 you can buy right now.
