The Audi RS6 Avant will always be the king of all fast wagons; even if rivals come up with more powerful opponents for it. And anyway, if they did, there is always the aftermarket. Check this out for example. ABT has just released a tuning kit for the new RS6 that takes it up to a staggering 666 horsepower.
That is a gain of over 100 horsepower. And it comes from a 4.0 liter V8. We have no idea what they’ve done to those turbochargers, but they have also managed to extract 830 Nm of torque. That is 130 more than the standard.
That amazing power in a big family estate means a car for every opportunity. You can put five adults in it, plus some luggage, and a couple of dogs, and you can still go from 0 to 100 km/h in a supercar-busting 3.7 seconds. Top speed is limited to 300 km/h.
ABT decided to leave the appearance of the car intact, save some carbon mirror caps and new exhausts with sport pipes. That is the coolest thing about the RS6. Only those who know what they’re looking at realize this is a monster disguised as a friendly Labrador.
