The Murano is one of the more interesting members of Nissan’s large crossover family. It’s always looked a bit weird, but thanks to is long list of features and a brilliant ride and handling, it never had any problem with sales. The 2014 Nissan Murano is now on sale starting from $28,440.
That is the MSRP for a Murano S Front-Wheel Drive mode. If you want four-wheel-drive, that’ll set you back $30,230 USD. Then if you decide to spec it up a bit further, you can go for the Value Package is again offered for the SV trim level, featuring navigation, Bluetooth Streaming Audio, Bose audio system and power liftgate and priced at $2,270 USD.
While there are eight different variants of the 2014 Nissan Murano on sale, all of them are powered by the same 260-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC V6, and all have the advanced Xtronic CVT transmission. It is a good setup, offering decent performance and fuel economy.
Enhancements for 2014 include the inclusion of the graphite interior with Tinted Bronze exterior (in addition to the Black interior color), plus the availability of Moving Object Detection (MOD), Blind Spot Warning (BSW) and Lane Departure Warning (LDW) systems.
