German tuner Carlsson got hold a new Mercedes S-Class and, well, went berserk with it. On the outside this car looks like a mildly tricked-out S-Class with some humongous wheels. But the power this thing makes simply beggars belief.

Mind you, it depends on what engine you go for. If the base car for Carlsson Mercedes S-Class treatment is the S500, they can give you a mere 610 horsepower and 900 Nm of torque; an increase of 150 hp and 200 Nm, and impressive by any measure. But if you choose the S63 AMG, Carlsson’s magic touch will results in a colossal 780 horsepower and over a 1000 Nm. That’s an increase 200 horsepower. Brabus is not the only Merc tuner with those numbers anymore.

As for the visual features, since Carlsson Mercedes S-Class is stilla a dignified luxury saloon, you only get an RS front spoiler, a pair of side skirts, and a new rear diffuser with four uniquely-shaped tailpipes. A set of Carlsson wheels, available in 19 to 21-inch versions, are also provided.
