When it comes to Mercedes-Benz tuning, Lorinser is one of the most prestigious names in the business. The German firm released an early preview of the package they are preparing for the new Mercedes S-Class, and, well, this time they seem to be taking a different approach.
The kit on the Lorinser Mercedes S-Class W222 looks pretty fresh and daring, but we dare not call it prestigious. Preposterous may be a better a word to describe it. The front-end features a brand-new bumper that gives the car an uncanny simpleton look. Well, a cocky simpleton who actually thinks he’s rather clever.
Things aren’t much better round at the back. The curvy new rear bumper would feel at home on Peugeot or something, but not on an S-Class. There are some distinctive features that are nice, such as the Lorinser signature gills, repeated on the rear bumpers as well, the quad tailpipes, and the boot lid spoiler.
All things considered though, Lorinser Mercedes S-Class W222 is a C minus.
