A while back we told you about Maserati’s sponsorship of the Sky Living’s exciting entertainment series “The Face”. The program is about the world of fashion, so naturally Maserati is attracted to it. Now killing g two birds with one stone, the Face team decided to make a commercial for Maser.
This Maserati Quattroporte The Face Commercial makes up the fifth episode of the program, in which supermodels Naomi Campbell, Caroline Winberg and Erin O’Connor lead their teams of supermodel wannabes to create an online ad. They have to come up with an ad for the Italian car maker that reflects its core values: style, elegance, technology and power.
The end result is a rather clever commercial and features some rather nice looking models. The winning idea, from Naomi Campbell’s team sees Iris van Herpen, 17 year old student Emma Holmes from Kent and 22 year old, fierce and feisty Jamaican Racquel Smith, begin running faster and faster towards the luxury four door saloon, racing each other to reach it first as it ‘demands to be driven’. The fact that they’re running in heels is probably to convey the message that you don’t have to sacrifice style for performance, or vice versa.
