Following its debut in September, the Volvo XC Coupe Concept is now all set for its world debut at the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) January next year. This is a concept of great importance, as it previews the next-generation XC90 SUV, one of the most important cars in the world.
The XC90 has been around for over a decade now with minimal changes, and that’s because the basic recipe for the car was so great they never felt the need to change it. Even today a few family cars are able to offer the same blend of comfort, convenience, and practicality, as well as safety, as the big Swede.
Releasing the first images of the concept car, Volvo confirms that the work has begun for replacing the old girl with something new and refreshing. The XC90 is tough act to follow, but Volvo reckons the new car will nail it. They say the XC Concept builds on Volvo’s proud history of Cross Country and XC products, so it should be alright.
Full details on Volvo XC Coupe Concept will be released early next month.
