The nerds of the Hexagon Project are back, continuing their quest to uncover the latest Lamborghini model by sneaking into the factory. As per usual, nothing of any practical use whatsoever comes out of their efforts, but this time at least they show us bits of the Lamborghini factory that are normally off-limit for cameras.
A couple of prototypes of the new Lamborghini Huracan, formerly known as the Cabrera – the Gallardo replacement, are visible in the background. Hopefully by Christmas the car will be revealed in full.
Our knowledge of the Huracan’s specs is limited to rumors and speculations. But, apparently, the car will retain the V10 powertrain of the Gallardo, but it’s tweaked to make over 600 horsepower. Design-wise, the Huracan is a cross between the Aventador and the Sesto Elemento. The interior too will be heavily influenced by the Aventador.
