DMC Aventador LP988 Edizione GT: New Pictures and Details

LP988 Edizione GT 0 600x337 at DMC Aventador LP988 Edizione GT: New Pictures and Details

DMC finally opened up about their LP988 Edizione GT package for the Lamborghini Aventador, releasing new and completely revealing rendering and some initial details about the car. The LP988 is DMC’s third and final stage of Aventador upgrade, and it costs a whopping $288,888 USD.

Mind you, $89,990 of the asking price is for the body kit and the other $134,530 is for the engine upgrade program. So if you are on a tight budget – not likely, since you own an Aventador – you can just get the body kit. It’s not like the standard Aventador is a slouch – not with that 700 horsepower V12 engine under the bonnet.

That said, the LP988 engine treatment sounds like an interesting prospect, because, well, it means you get 988 horsepower. That power, combined with Veneno-inspired styling kit, justifies the total cost of the DMC Aventador LP988 Edizione GT, which is just shy of half a million dollar.

We have talked extensively about the Veneno-style kit on the LP988 before, so just to recap, it includes an all-new, insanely-designed front bumper, an sculpted new hood with extra vents, side skirts, a massive rear diffuser, new tailpipes arrangement, and a big rear spoiler. Alright now, enjoy the pictures:
