American car customizer D2Autosport has come up with a treatment for the Mercedes CLA that improves the aesthetics of the car with a couple of simple changes. This can give a lot of good ideas to those who may want to spice their CLA up a bit.
D2 Autosport is so proud of what they’ve accomplished here that they call the end result the Mercedes CLA D2Edition, as if this is a special edition made by Mercedes themselves. D2’s white CLA 250 has been given a ‘black-out’ treatment, including smoked headlights and taillights, blacked-out roof, tinted windows, black mirror caps, and black accenting on the front and rear bumpers.
The stock wheels are also swapped for a set of 18-inch aftermarket rims, finished, naturally, in black. Other changes include the installation of a black rear spoiler that looks rather big on the car, black tailpipes that vanish into the darkness of the rear fascia, and customized engine bay with a white engine cover.
Mercedes CLA D2Edition shows that you don’t need expensive body kits or massive wheels to improve your car. All you need is some imagination and good taste. D2’s CLA looks miles more impressive than the standard car, but it’s not overcooked. It is just right!
