German tuner AC Schnitzer has begun working on the BMW 2 Series, or the coupe version of the 1 Series if you prefer the old naming policy, and as usual, they are starting off slow. What they can offer you for now includes a range of wheels and some fancy tailpipes. But a lot more is coming soon.
The range of products AC Schnitzer is developing for the BMW 2 Series F22 include performance upgrades, exhaust systems, suspension solutions, aerodynamic components and accessories for the interior.
They will upgrade every engine in the range, but most of all we are looking forward to the M235i, already one helluva proposition with a turbocharged straight-six engine.
AC recommends for the 2 Series a set of 19-inch Type VIII lightweight forged wheels. You can also choose 18 or 20-inch versions of the VIII, or go for the bicolor version. Alternatively, there is the IV model in normal or bicolor versions, and in 18 and 19-inch sizes.
