Maserati officially announced the debut of a brand-new concept car, confirming the rumors of a Gran Turismo-based futuristic model. Maserati, of course, reveals nothing of any practical use about the new concept, but they say it previews the style of all Maseratis for the next 100 years!
That’s a bold claim, but it does give you a clue as to what sort of car this new Maserati concept might be. It probably looks extremely futuristic with weird doors and even weirder lights. But this being Maserati, there will be some traditional features as well, such as swoopy curves, and a bold grille with Maser’s proud logo in the middle.
The other major debut for Maserati at this year’s Geneva Motor Show is the Quattroporte Ermenegildo Zegna Limited Edition. With a limited production run of just 100 units, the QP Zenga is the result of a close collaboration between two companies that are linked by history, tradition and exclusivity.
It features a special effect paint finish with gloss lack and aluminum accents on the outside, while interior components such as seats, door panels and roof lining are finished in genuine soft leather and velvet-smooth fabric.
