California-based Unplugged Performance, whose shop is in close proximity to Tesla’s Hawthorne Design Center, is attempting to establish itself as the main source of aftermarket kits for the Silicon Valley-based auto maker. They have launched a series of styling treatment for the Model S, featuring an aggressive and sporty look.
The Tesla Model S styling kit proposed by Unplugged consists of a revised front fascia incorporating a spoiler, a pair of side skirts, rear diffuser system, and a truck spoiler. The designers have taken care not to mess the car’s practicality, so all the new parts are designed with maintain adequate ground clearance for everyday use.
Tesla Model S is a handsome car and the add-on parts Unplugged have come up with manage to accentuate that natural beauty without trying too hard. What’s more, the kit is reasonably priced at just under 5 grand, which is good considering we are talking about exotic car tuning here.
Unplugged Performance is also working on performance upgrades for the Tesla Model S. Due to the unique powertrain system in this car, a performance upgrade could be as simple as installing a new software.
