Brabus Mercedes S500 B50

Brabus released pictures of a new Mercedes S500 they’ve have tuned with a version of their B50 upgrade package. We are so used to seeing 700 and 800 horsepower cars from this tuner that the idea of a Brabus S500 seems a bit weird. But it is a very fine creation and while it may not have the power of an 850 model, it is not exactly a slouch either.

Brabus Mercedes S500 B50 is powered by tricked-out 4.6 liter V8 engine with 540 PS and 820 Nm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.8 seconds and has a limited top speed of 250 km/h. You could argue that this car is a Brabus for the more eco-minded person.

Brabus says this S500 B50 will average 9.1 l/100km if you drive carefully, which is fantastic given the car’s size, weight and performance. Highway consumption is 7.1 l/100km, while in the city you will be lucky if you get 13.

This particular Brabus Mercedes S500 also gets a subtle and very classy body kit consisting of matte grey spoiler lip, side vents, side skirts with Brabus logo, matte grey rear diffuser with four round tailpipes, and a bootlid spoiler. A set of matte grey Brabus monoblock wheels wraps things up nicely.
