MINI USA announced the results of their Final Test Test Drives contest, in which they asked the fans to submit photos and video of their favorite MINI moment. The ten winners then had a chance to create their very own unique MINI design and options package.

The winner of the contest is Alex Coyle’s “DeLux”, and as promised, they are going to produce it in limited numbers. Coyle’s MINI Cooper DeLux , to be displayed at the New York Auto Show, will be available to order online or at MINI dealerships. They will offer up to 56 vehicles fitted with this design package.

The winning design was chosen by MINI community, who were impressed by the Tron-inspired graphics, and the way the car was specced-up. MINI Cooper DeLux by Alex Coyle features Midnight Black body, roof and mirrors; 18″ Silver Cone Spoke wheels; chrome line exterior; rear spoiler; Alex C’s originals graphics, as well as Leatherette/Cloth Seats in Black Pearl, Cold Weather Package, Premium Package, Sport Package, Anthracite Headliner, and…

“‘Lux’ is the root meaning of ‘light,’” explains Coyle. “After I went through all the options I had available to customize the car I went for all the bells and whistles and created what I call a “Deluxe” model. The result was ‘DeLux’”.
