Dartz, the creator of the world’s maddest armoured luxury cars, privately unveiled an armoured version of the Mercedes G63 AMG 6×6. These blurry pictures they published on their Facebook are not very revealing, but they are clear enough to let us know Dartz has created a frightening monster that eats Brabus 6×6 for breakfast.
Everything about Dartz Mercedes G63 6×6 Die Hard is monstrous; from the way it looks, to what it is capable of, to the hefty price tag, which is said to be close to $3 million.
Dartz Mercedes G63 6×6 Die Hard, or DrIvE Hard, is inspired by Cougar 6×6 MRAP (Mine Resistant Ambush Protected) featured in Die Hard 5, and is described by its makers as the “Result of sex between MRAP and Mercedes G” and “World’s first funky armored car.”
Not sure about funky, but with all those armour plating installed on the body the car does look kinda amusing. We wonder how much they add to the weight of the car. Not that it matters, of course, as Die Hard’s 5.5 liter M157 AMG biturbo V8 is said to be tuned to over 1000 horsepower. Fuel bills for this car must be as scary as the way it looks!
