Every time we think we’ve seen the ultimate tuning package for Lamborghini Aventador, tuners surprise us with a new and more extreme version. Earlier today we showed you a Novitec Aventador on CEC Wheels, and it was a serious bit of kit. Now DMC has sent us photos of their latest creation, and this one is even more serious!

The German tuner has been teasing us for the past few weeks with this kit, but now that we get to see the DMC Aventador LP988 Edizione-GT in its full glory it is still quite surprising. Not many cars have such powerful visual impact.

DMC Aventador LP988 Edizione-GT is the third iteration of DMC’s Aventador kit that started with the Molto Veloce, evolved into the Spezial Version, and now this. The E-GT package costs a staggering $288,888 (just the package, excluding the car), and it’s been developed with FIA regulations in mind.

The body kit alone costs 90 grand and includes new front and rear spoiler, side skirts, winglets and diffusers. All of these parts are exaggerated and caricaturized versions of the already insane parts from the SV package.

DMC Aventador LP988 Edizione-GT also gets an engine upgrade kit which, as the name suggests, is good for 988 horsepower. It includes a Twin-Turbo system for the V12 engine. Other changes include new wheels, revised suspension, and exquisite leather for the interior.
