As a sendoff for the previous generation BMW M3 (E92), G-Power has come up with what can be described as the ultimate tuning package for the V8-powered sports car. This program is applied here to two limited edition M3s, the GTS and CRT.
The four-door CRT is the rarer of the two, with only 67 units produced. The M3 GTS spawned 150 copies, which is more, but still not many given the demand. What G-Power is proposing is pushing the output of the S65 engine to its limits – 650 horsepower.
The way they go about achieving this is by installing some serious high-performance components, chiefly an ASA Kompressor supercharger. Unlike the turbos used in the new M3/M4 engine, the supercharger not only has no lag, it enhances the response of the engine. Other deep mods include reinforced engine block, forged crankshaft and reinforced con rods. Last but not least, G-Power installs a lightweight, all-titanium exhaust system with 100 cpsi metal catalytic converters.
This 23,500 Euro performance kit is good for 650 hp and 650 Nm of torque, which translates into 0-100 km/h and 0-200 km/h times of 4.1s and 11.8s, and a top speed of 323 km/h.
