The German-American Mercedes specialist RENNtech, led by a former AMG engineer, is responsible for some of the craziest Mercs ever built. They have a penchant for horsepower and loud noises, which is why they found the SLS Black Series the perfect candidate for some of their finest works.

Seeing as the standard car is plenty crazy to look at, RENNtech Mercedes SLS Black Series doesn’t get much in the way of aero kits and stuff. What it gets right off the bat when it enters the workshop is a bespoke exhaust system that makes the engine sound like a large-caliber machine gun at full chat:

RENNtech Mercedes SLS Black Series exhaust system is not just about chaotic noise. That is a byproduct. The main advantage of using this system is an extra 20 hp and 20 lb-ft of torque, pushing the output of the 6.2 liter V8 to early 640 horsepower. Come to think of it, more power is the last thing the SLS needs, but here we are.
