Following a short and efficient teasing campaign, Kia now reveals their new Sorento SUV in its full glory long before its official debut at the Paris Motor Show. The new Sorento has evidently gone upmarket, boasting a grown up design and neat new features.
2015 Kia Sorento reflects the next evolution in the firm’s design language, and we’re glad to see the front grille no longer looks like a bone, and that the headlights are not ridiculous anymore. You can argue, though, that the tame new design is a bit featureless. But at least it looks more elegant.
Kia is yet to reveal the interior of the new Sorento, but based on the sketch they released a few days ago, it looks pretty much identical to the cabin of their current lineup, namely the Optima and the Cadenza. That is not necessarily a bad thing.
While the technical details of 2015 Kia Sorento are also yet to be released, speculations suggest the SUV will get the firm’s 2.4 liter four-cylinder engine in its base model, and the 3.3 liter V6 in the range-topping version.
