The internet is seriously mad at Drive channel for switching to paid subscription; a fact you can tell by seeing the number of dislikes their short teaser videos are getting. Here’s one of these short videos in which Chris Harris compares two fast German family cars: BMW M235i and VW Golf R.

And you know what, this three-minute video gives you what you need to know about the driving experience of these cars. If you are looking for advice on which to buy, this will probably suffice. If you are a car video junkie, it won’t.

This whole thing does not seem fair on Chris Harris who is getting a lot less media attention because of the affair with Drive. The guy is one of the world’s top motoring journalists. A lot of people listen to his verdicts. A lot more enjoy watching his awesome driving skills. Maybe he should start publishing videos privately.
