Carlex Design Mercedes E-Coupe Inspired by F1

The latest creation of interior expert Carlex Design is a custom Mercedes E-Coupe. The owner, who has apparently fitted his car with a 5.5 liter bi-turbo AMG V8 engine – normally not offered for the E-Coupe – wanted to celebrate the success of Mercedes F1 team, and Carlex was happy to oblige.

They designed a fantastic treatment for the cabin of this Mercedes E-Coupe, inspiredly the colors of Mercedes F1 team including black, silver, and green. Exotic materials such as perforated alcantara, black nappa with light sections, and carbon elements are used artistically to replicate the looks of an F1 car inside the E-Coupe with unique combinations and textures.

As always, Carlex has modified every single panel and covered every inch of the interior. The seats, door panels, top and bottom go the dashboard, and the headliner, they are all modified with either leather or Alcantara and highlighted by contrast stitching. There is also a suede steering wheel with aluminum accents, carbon rim, and green stitching, complementing the green inserts in the dash, green piping in the seats, and green edging on the floor mats. The seat belts too are green.

We also like the design of the seat upholstery which make them look like a ripped man with a six-pack, or rather a 12-pack! As mentioned, you will also find a healthy dose of carbon fiber trimming which reinforces the motorsport theme.
