Because of its rarity, and the fact that it’s a racing car, you have to be extremely lucky to see a Maserati MC12 Corsa up close. The chances of seeing one on the road, then, is almost zero. We say almost, because the other day BrianZuk did spot one on the road and filmed it in action!
So this is one of those rare moments in a petrolhead’s life where they get to witness something that may happen once every few years: a Maserati MC12 Corsa track car being driven on public roads:
The insane sound of the Maserati MC12 Corsa is generated by a Ferrari Enzo V12 engine stripped out of its silencers and stuff. This is, after all, a racing machine. When it was new back in 2006, this track toy for the wealthy cost 1,000,000 Euros. These days it must be worth at least twice that. It only came in a special shade of blue called the official Maserati “Blue Victory”.
