Body kits are cool but when you are dealing with a car as handsome as the BMW 4 Series Convertible, you best leave the body intact, especially if it already has the M Sport package on it. That’s what the owner of this 4er thinks too, which is why he decided all the mods he needs include some new suspension and a set of wheels.
So with a couple of well-placed modifications he has managed to improve the appearance of his BMW 4 Series without messing with the car’s styling and ruining it. Mind you, because he steered clear of styling kits, it seems he lavished double the usual amount of care on the wheels and suspension, slamming the car right to the ground and fitting large 20-inch wheels.
Such treatment has many advantages and one small drawback. On the upside, the car looks super cool now and thanks to reduced ride height it handles better as well. The downside is, some of the ride comfort may have been lost, which is of course not that big of a deal because the 4 Series is a sporty car to begin with and if you buy a sporty car you are prepared to put up with harsh ride anyway!
The suspension kit on this BMW 4 Series Convertible is the high-end KW DDC system and it is paired with a set of mbDESIGN KV1 wheels in sizes 9×20 inch up front and 10,5×20 inch out back, finished in matte grey to match the paint job. The mods are applied by TVW Car design.
