As we’ve already told you, the new Alfa Romeo Giulia is set for official debut on June 24. But before they take the wraps off the car we get our first glimpse of the Giulia in a couple of leaked photos that reveal her curvaceous booty!
And it’s a damn fine one. Ok, so that bottom is not as chiseled as, say, an F-Type. But it’s a great one for an ordinary saloon car which is what Alfa Romeo Giulia is. In fact, you can see some F-Type in the car’s rear diffuser/tailpipes combo, and a lot of Maserati in its tail lights and that unique boot lid spoiler.
In short then, it is highly unlikely that Alfa Romeo Giulia will disappoint us in terms of design. And by the looks of things that will also true in terms of performance. The car will be available with a range of ‘normal’ petrol and diesel units, but there will be a range-topping sports model powered by a Ferrari derived 3.0-litre V6 producing 503bhp.
All the evidence suggest that the 2016 Alfa Romeo Giulia will be nice and taut sports saloon with light weight and a tight chassis. Alfa is determined to make the car drive as well as it looks, because the Giulia is the most important car they are going to launch in decades.
