Vossen Wheels reveals the result of another unique project they’ve been working on, this time involving a VW Scirocco. Now, this might sound like a less glamorous proposition compared to Vossen’s previous works, but they have done some pretty interesting things to the Scirocco and elevated it to something absolutely marvelous.
The goal of this project was to showcase the Vossen VLE-1 Limited Edition Wheels by making them pop on a car that wouldn’t divert too much attention from the rims. So they went for a white Scirocco and painted the wheels, which have a nice retro vibe about them, in Gloss Graphite.
But that wasn’t really enough. This VW Scirocco is basically a show car and it had to look unique and wonderful. As such, they went ahead and replaced the stock suspension system with a custom air suspension, the telltale sign of which – apart from the obvious reduction in ride height when the system is activated – is a three massive air tanks inside a custom suede-wrapped structure where the rear seats used to be.
Other highlights of this one-of-a-kind, right-hand-drive, slammed 2.0 liter Turbo sports coupe is a modified interior with Porsche GT3 seats and a subwoofer the size of a satellite dish.
