Hamann is a very methodical tuner – they are German, you know – so they like to do things step by step. Firs they introduce some wheels, then comes a body kit, and after that maybe a power package or two. So here’s the new Hamann BMW X6M trying on a few sets of wheels.

We have to say we quite like the look of Hamann BMW X6M, which is surprising because we just can’t stomach the standard X6 with its creepily large eyes and that stupid curved roof. But there is something quite cool about the Hamann version. Maybe it’s the dished wheels, or maybe it’s the dark color on this particular example. It just looks cool.

As for the wheels, they all measure 23-inch in diameter and although the designs are somewhat similar too, they belong to different series. Up top we have the Anniversary “EVO HYPER BLACK”, and down below the Anniversary “EVO Black Line”, the silver Anniversary “EVO”, Forged “Anodized”, and finally Edition Race “Black”.

So the way these things work, we should soon see a new body kit for the X6M with revised bumpers and grilles as well as new hood and sills and spoilers, and after that a power kit for the 560-hp 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 that powers the car.
