Nissan Juke R Nismo teaser 600x412 at Nissan Juke R Nismo Teased for Goodwood FoS

Two and a bit years ago Nissan came up with this idea to fit a Juke crossover with the engine of a GT-R. It was good fun for a while and they even sold a few of them at the preposterously high price of £400K. Now they have come up with the Nissan Juke-R Nismo, set for debut at the 2015 Goodwood Festival of Speed.

No details have been released on the technical specs of the Nissan Juke-R Nismo and the teaser image they have sent us shows nothing more than an even crazier-looking Juke-R. turning to Nissan for information is no good either, as the only words they say about this car is that it’s a “Juke-R… with added Nismo,” whatever that means.

Chances are Nissan Juke-R Nismo is the same old car with some visual upgrades courtesy of the car maker’s in-house tuning arm. Nissan doesn’t have another high-performance engine other than the GT-R V6, so mechanically the Nismo Juke should be pretty much identical to the old model.

Still, this is something to look forward to at this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed. After all, the previous Juke-R did a lot of cool things before it gets completely forgotten.
