Yes, there is a new version of Brabus G63 coming to this year’s Frankfurt Motor Show, and yes, it does look pretty much the same as the previous models. But it’s different. It is an 850 Widestar model – in other words the most fully loaded Brabus G63 you can get.

The German tuner has gone all out with this one, packing the G-Wagen with everything they had. Let’s begin with the meat of the program which is 6.0 Biturbo V8 – that’s right, the standard unit has been drilled and upped in capacity – developing 850 horsepower and a ridiculous 1,450 Nm of torque, enabling this 2,550 kg car to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.0 seconds, and from there to a top speed of 260 km/h.

That turn of speed obviously requires better wheels and tires than the standard, which is why Brabus G63 850 is equipped with a set of Brabus “PLATINUM EDITION” 23-inch wheels wrapped with 305/35 R 23 Pirelli or Yokohoma tires. They are supported by Bilstein adjustable suspension.

Performance aside, Brabus G63 850 Widestar also shines in terms of styling and luxuriousness. The body kit on this model, as the name suggests, features extended wheel arches as well as LED lights, Brabus bumpers, and carbon hood. As for the features and equipment, you get the usual dose of leather and carbon and aluminum, plus a 16-inch LCD monitor connected to the COMMAND system and a blu-ray player, plus a WLAN router with 4G high speed modem.
