The next tuner to make public their intentions for upgrading the new BMW M2 through a series of awesome renderings is Alpha-N. A sick wide body aero kit and an upgrade to 480 horsepower are the main highlights of the forthcoming Alpha-N Performance BMW M2.
This is of course more than just day dreaming on paper. The engine powering the M2 is basically the same unit we have already seen tuned many different ways in the M4. So extracting 480 PS out of it with chip tuning and water injection system like Alpha-N proposes is completely believable.
The kind of power in a small car makes for serious performance. As such, Alpha-N Performance BMW M2 is expected to be able make 100 km/h from 0 in about four second which would be a significant improvement over the standard figures. That means the car is going to need a whole host of other improvements just to cope with that turn of speed.
And that is what it’s getting. Alpha-N Performance BMW M2 will be fitted with a massive aero kit featuring large wings and spoilers as well as buffed up fenders housing big wheels with fat sticky tires. The suspension will also be treated to some adjustment and we expect the brakes to get a major overhaul as well.
