Mercedes-Benz designed the new GLE Coupe as a rival for the BMW X6 which, of course, meant it had to be cool and stylish. They kind of missed the target, and they are now being mocked for it by someone who’s fitted his Mercedes GLE Coupe with a set of massive Forgiato wheels.

The white Mercedes GLE 450 here would have been an alright looking vehicle. Not very pretty, but impressive and classy. But the owner evidently decided he knew how to improve things by building on the weak points rather than trying to rectify them. What he ended up with is a cross between a donk and a pimped-out SUV, and frankly it looks ridiculous.

This semi-donked Mercedes GLE is fitted with a set of Forgiato Monoleggera Sport, 24s by the looks of them, finished in white with red lips to match the red accents on the car itself, including front and rear aprons, mirror caps, and graphics. Those rims are one of the most outlandish wheel designs in Forgiato’s catalog. The car is a GLE 450 powered by a biturbo V6 engine that produces 362 horsepower and 384 lb-ft of torque, mated to a 9G-TRONIC nine-speed automatic transmission and 4MATIC permanent all-wheel drive.
