A perviously unseen footage of Paul Walker has hit the internet, showing the late actor during a trip to Japan where he got to test drive some of the world’s finest tuned Nissan GT-Rs from Mine’s Motor Sports shop. The GT-R was Paul’s car of choice in most of his Fast and Furious movies, so… nostalgia alert!

It’s sad only know people are realizing Paul Walker was pretty much the only cool car guy in the world. To be brutally honest most of us car fanatics are only marginally less nerdy than, say, Trekkies. But Paul, he was cool as ice.

In related GT-R news, the car has just been named the “Most Iconic Japanese Car Ever” by followers of Japfest, the biggest celebration of Japanese cars and culture in Europe. So there you go. It’s social media now that determines what is “iconic” and what isn’t based on the knowledge and aspirations of a bunch of pale, prepubescent teenagers, or the Play Station generation as they’re known. We have to say though, they’re probably right about the GT-R being the most iconic Japanese car of all time. No other car created in the land of the rising sun has ever had such a fame, success, and following.
