What do the livery of a British tobacco company made famous by Porsche in Le Mans and Group B rallying and a rather prissy sports coupe like Audi TT have in common? Well, not much really. But the fact is the colors of the iconic livery and the lines of the modern car make this Rothmans Audi TT one helluva an eye candy and that is enough of a reason for its existence.
The choice of livery for the Rothmans Audi TT by EAH Customs of Germany is actually an interesting one. The Rothmans colors are among the coolest motorsport liveries ever created – up there with Martini and Gulf – but because it’s from a tobacco company no one uses it anymore. So Kudos to EAH for bringing it back and reminding us how royal this livery looks. We hope to see more Rothmans cars from now on.
But awesome livery is only part of what makes EAH’s Rothmans Audi TT great. The car is one of the most heavily modified versions of the new TT, featuring an uprated TDI engine with 230 hp, HRE vintage Super+ rims in size 8,5 x 20 inches ET40 with Hankook S1 Evo tires of size 225/30-20, flared wheel arches, Audi R8 front brake calipers and RS7 brake discs, KW coilovers with its pre-configured KW damper setup, and Heigo Clubsport rollcage.
