When your brand-new 2017 Audi R8 V10 Plus comes with the ‘Individual’ Ara Blue paint work it is already pretty damn special. But if that is still not enough to satisfy your ambitions, check this out. The 2017 TAG Motorsports Audi R8 shows how you can improve this car with only a few aftermarket parts.
They are few, but they are good. The upgrade treatment given to TAG Motorsports Audi R8 V10 Plus does not go to extremes. In fact, it is pretty light by tuning standards. But these mods are targeted mods, carefully devised to enhance the areas where the standard R8 isn’t really all that ‘super’. That narrows it down to the wheels and the exhaust system, both of which are a bit too damp for a car of this level of performance.
TAG Motorsports Audi R8 remedies the wheel issue by employing a set of really fancy looking HRE wheels (20″ HRE P104 in Satin Bronze) which they have then complemented with some Ara Blue brake calipers. As for the exhaust, they chose one of the best names in the business, Akrapovic with their Evolution Line system. Other little changes TAG has done to this car to make that much cooler include gloss black cosmetic package, XPEL clear bra, and VF Engineering HEXTune ECU tune to 625 hp.
