Normally we would rant for about half an hour when we are presented with a metallic green sedan on what must be wrong with a grown man to drive such a thing. But there is something quite charming about this Java Green Alpina B7 that stops us from hating on it. You sort of get the feeling if this car could talk it wouldn’t be able to use verbs.
On display right now at BMW Abu Dhabi, the Java Green Alpina B7 bi-turbo is quite possibly one of the most extreme versions of the 7er in the world, boasting not only the coveted Alpina appearance and power package, but also an Individual treatment from BMW themselves in form of a unique paint job. It’s a cool car this, but we have to say we’re not feeling the white interior against the green exterior.
The Alpina treatment on this 7 Series means it is the closest thing to an M7 you will ever find. The 4.4 liter bi-turbo V8 engine in this car is upgraded by the legendary tuner to 605 horsepower and 800 Nm of torque, giving those monstrous looks the appropriate firepower. The visual kit, meanwhile, gives the Java Green Alpina B7 its special appearance with a front spoiler, side skirts, rear bootlid wing and apron.
