The G-Cross: Hofele Design Mercedes G-Wagon

Oldtimer German tuner Hofele Design has come up with a new kit for the Mercedes G-Wagon which, apparently, aims at shaking things up a bit. To be honest most of the G-Wagon kits launched in recent years look kind of similar, so what Hofele Design Mercedes G-Wagon, dubbed the G-Cross, wants to do is distinguish itself by being different.

The non-conformist Hofele Design Mercedes G-Wagon features a new front fascia design that has never been seen before on one of these SUVs, and probably for a good reason. They have gone for a protruding front bumper with geometric shapes for air intakes, and although it certainly is new and different it can hardly be called cool and pretty.

The rest of Hofele Design Mercedes G-Wagon G-Cross package include a custom grille, wide wheel arches, branded running boards, new rear bumper, mesh grille all around, side exit exhaust with double-oval tailpipes and Silver air vents in the front wings, and integrated LED lighting on the roof shield. A set of Hofele-Design 10 x 22” REVERSO wheels and a whopping 50mm suspension lift wrap up the exterior work.

In terms of performance Hofele has a new power kit along with active sound system for the G350 Diesel model. It gives the motor a boost in power to 290 PS with 700 Nm of torque, along with a fake V8 rumble. Last but not least, you can personalize the interior with new upholstery, trim, and sport steering wheel.
