So finally after months of anticipation Elon Musk gave the world a detailed tour of his brand-new, affordable (sort of) electric sedan, the 2018 Tesla Model 3. Starting at around $35,000, the Model 3 is considerably cheaper than the Model S, but it’s also that much less desirable.
I mean, even a Prius looks more exciting next to the Tesla Model 3, and don’t even get us started on the interior, which consists of five seats, a large wheel, and a massive screen. We’re bored just looking at it. But hey, that’s a small price to pay to get more people into electric cars, reduce the use fossil fuel, and lower the carbon output that’s, allegedly, ruining the planet. This is where the Model 3 starts to make sense.

In terms of driving and dynamics and all that stuff Tesla Model 3 is a class act. Depending on the battery pack you go for you get 210 to 330 miles of range on a single charge, and a 0-60 mph acceleration time of 5.1 or 5.6 seconds, all of which is great. As for the equipment and features, the standard 35 grand car is a bit spartan, featuring only a 15? touchscreen with onboard maps & navigation, Wi-Fi and LTE internet connectivity, Keyless entry and remote climate control with app, Voice activated control, 60/40 split folding rear seats, Dual zone climate control system, FM/Internet streaming radio, Textile seating and Center console with open storage and two USB ports.
