The old tuner of British cars, Arden, has unveiled the latest creation based on the 2015 Range Rover Vogue. The AR9 upgrade package consists of a complete wide body styling kit and a pretty beefy engine power package. Arden Range Rover is a whole different animal compared to the standard model.
Obviously, the AR9 is based on the range-topping Supercharged V8 Range Rover which has 510 horsepower in its standard guise. The tuner yanks the stock supercharger out along with the ECU and the exhaust system, and replaces them with custom units made by themselves. Well, they don’t replace the ECU, but remap it with their own software.
The result of this drastic changes is a drastic boost in power: 650 horsepower and over 750 Nm of torque. With the kind of firepower, Arden Range Rover AR9 can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just over 5 seconds and reach a top speed of nearly 230 km/h.
As for the styling kit, Arden Range Rover AR9 features familiar styling cues seen on other Arden cars before. You get a massive front bumper along with custom grilles and LED lights, buffed-up fenders on the front and rear complete with new sills and skirts, a roof spoiler, and a fairly prominent rear diffuser. A set of 22-inch Arden wheels is a necessary addition to make the whole thing look right.
