Nissan released the complete details of the sedan version of the Versa, set for debut at the upcoming New York Auto Show. The Versa Sedan is an economy-class model with prices starting from just $11,990 USD, which is the lowest MSRP for a new car in the American market.

2015 Nissan Versa Sedan features the brand’s corporate look with a bold front grille and large headlights. Based on the trim level you go for, the Versa may come with lots of chrome detailing and 15-inch wheels, but don’t expect much. It is, after all, an 11 grand car.

The Versa Sedan is a good car for its price though, carrying five passengers in relative comfort, offering them standard equipment such as AM/FM/CD audio system with standard auxiliary-in and Radio Data System (RDS), assist grips, a passenger-side vanity mirror and new seat fabric. It also comes with a 14.9 cubic feet trunk and a 60/40-split fold-down rear seat.

Higher grade like SL Technology Package come with NissanConnect navigation system, featuring a 5.8-inch color touch-screen display, Nissan Voice Recognition for audio and navigation, SiriusXM Traffic and SiriusXM Travel Link.

The only engine on offer for the 2015 Nissan Versa Sedan is a 1.6-liter HR16DE 4-cylinder engine rated at 109 horsepower and 107 lb-ft of torque. It can be had with a 5-speed manual transmission, a 4-speed automatic, or a CVT.
